What is weProsper?

weProsper is a start-up venture dedicated to improving the financial future of America by increasing $Literacy in younger generations. weProsper unites a community of people committed to helping our children become financially secure and independent.

Is weProsper part of a larger organization?

weProsper is a wholly owned LLC of iThryv, the developers of a cutting-edge online banking platform. weProsper offers iThryv Professor to members free of charge through an agreement with iThryv. But as an independent organization we can also ensure that the educators, students, and parents in the weProsper community are our top priority.

What does weProsper do?

By embracing education and technology to increase $Literacy, weProsper empowers the next generation to take control of their financial future. weProsper is working to improve $Literacy by:

  • Encouraging national $Literacy standards for K-College students
  • Building affordable & sustainable $Literacy infrastructure
  • Teaching $Literacy at the point of banking transaction
  • Creating a national “saving score” to promote strong saving rates

How does it work?

weProsper collaborates with parents, teachers, financial experts, and community groups to build strong support networks that encourage $Literacy education in schools, faith-based organizations, and neighborhoods. By working together, we can create the sustainable change we need to achieve financial stability at the national, local, and household level.

What is iThryv Professor?

iThryv Professor is weProsper’s online teaching tool. Designed for youths aged 5-24 and customizable to age, skill level and learning objective, this Web-based software allows parents, teachers, and group leaders to create financial lessons with simulated bank accounts. Though an ongoing learning continuum structured around teachable moments, students acquire and apply real-world financial skills in authentic financial transactions. iThryv Professor allows users to set goals, track and categorize spending, establish a “savings score,” earn incentive points, and customize their experience in an immersive learning environment. Can my organization partner with weProsper?

Yes! weProsper fosters partnerships between financial institutions, businesses, educational institutions, and faith-based organizations to extend financial education beyond the classroom and into the community.

What types of partnerships does weProsper offer?

If you are an established, reputable organization or financial literacy expert that endorses creating national $Literacy standards, promoting strong financial habits, and supporting local financial education, we would be very interested in partnering with you. There are many ways to get involved:

What are weProsper Neighborhoods?

weProsper Neighborhoods is a volunteer program that encourages businesses and financial institutions to “adopt a school” and join the $Literacy movement. By fostering healthy $Literacy partnerships on a local community level, weProsper believes we can strengthen important relationships between youths, parents and financial providers.
